We are hiring psychiatric/mental health nurses at The University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics and University Neuropsychiatric Institute. Psychiatric/mental health nurses actively participate in a multidisciplinary treatment approach to provide holistic care in a therapeutic environment. Nurses that practice in these areas assess the mental health needs of individuals and families seeking guidance and support to alleviate mental illness symptoms. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients by utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status, implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms, and develop and implement patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes and ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
