This position provides independent oversight and decision making for all activities of a specified program. Program outcomes often impact the University as a whole. The incumbent acts as a liaison between internal and external constituencies involved in program related activities.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures high-functioning day-to-day operations and procedures of product.
  • Develops and implements unit specific financial goals and performs strategic and tactical planning for the program by establishing short and long-range objectives.
  • In partnership with Business Development teams, markets and promotes new and existing programs and services to internal and external customers.
  • Develops and implements department or program specific policies and procedures.
  • Serves as department representative in addressing issues and questions related to the programs, which may include representing the department on various committees.
  • Forecasts, prepares or directs the preparation of the product budget and monitors expenditures. Aids in the negotiation of terms of contracts and/or service agreements.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction by analyzing complaints, concerns and suggestions and providing appropriate follow-through.
  • Develops departmental strategies consistent with the assigned departments’ continuous quality improvement program.
  • Stays abreast of legal or other related changes impacting the program and makes recommendations for improvement and compliance.
  • May develop systems and maintain records to support and advance the program.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalency.
  • Four years senior level related experience.

Qualifications (Preferred)

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in Business, Law or related field
