    The position is responsible for managing payment consolidator program and in order to accommodate timely posting of files by cash posting.

    This position has no responsibility for providing care to patients

    Responsibilities

    Essential Functions

    • Sort, distributes, & processes correspondence
    • Prepares & scans documentation
    • Retrieves & returns voice mail messages, providing exceptional service
    • Maintains supply inventory
    • Pulls EOBs or other billing documents, as needed for audit purposes

    Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

    • Demonstrated ability to express information in a clear and understandable manner.
    • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work to meet productivity expectations and/or deadlines.
    • Ability to identify root cause of issues and design logical approach for resolution.
    • Ability to accurately and thoroughly accomplish tasks.

    • Ability to solicit and act on constructive feedback, challenge self and demonstrate resilience in the face of opposition.
    • Ability to provides outstanding service through empathy, issue resolution and follow through.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Two years of office, administrative or clerk related experience.

    Preferred

    • Highly prefer someone with experience working in a healthcare environment.
