Neurosciences OR supports surgical services of multiple specialties primarily neurosurgery, and also orthopaedics, otolaryngoscopy, general surgery, and plastics services. We utilize the most sophisticated equipment, ensuring that after all procedures, patients are cared for by specialized physicians, nurses and staff. Neuroscience Center neurosurgeons have access to the latest technology for all neurological surgical procedures e.g. intraoperative MRI, Clearpoint, stereotactic surgical navigation, the Visualase-guided laser probe, etc. Neurosurgery procedures are available for all neurosurgical conditions e.g. aneurysms, arteriovenous malformation, brain tumors, carotid artery blockage/stenosis, cerebrovascular surgery, functional neurosurgery, skull base surgery, spine surgery, etc.
This position is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients by utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status, implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms, and develop and implement patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes and ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
