Unit Description: Our Neuro Critical Care unit (NCCU) provides care to neurosurgical and neurological patients from throughout the Intermountain West. Our unit has earned the DNV GL Stroke Center Certification and is designated a Stroke Center of Excellence. We provide a mentorship program, assistant charge nurse program, and competency based education including advanced neuro monitoring for patients.
This position provides patient care at the direction of a Registered Nurse. Requiring direct contact with patients and their families as well as the performance of indirect patient care activities necessary to support patients and their environment.
This position may be required to access medications within their scope of practice and according to State Law.
