The Department of Radiation Oncology occupies a spacious 30,000 square feet on the ground floor of the beautiful Huntsman Cancer Hospital on the University of Utah Salt Lake campus.

The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a passion for delivering high quality, state of the art treatments while being supported with a team of 14 faculty Radiation oncologists, 13 Nurses, 11 Dosimetrists & 13 board certified/eligible Medical Physicists along with over 30 Radiation Therapists.

This position performs radiation therapy and radiographic procedures involving the application of X-rays and radioactive substances to patients. The incumbent operates specialized X-ray equipment as prescribed by the physician, keeps treatment records and prepares operational reports as required. This position is responsible for providing direct patient care and also applies ionizing radiation to patients in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist.
