University of Utah Health is seeking an additional Challenge Course Facilitator for our ROPES Challenge Course team at the Huntsman Mental Health Institute (HMHI)!
We're seeking outgoing individuals with at least one year of paid work experience in facilitating group activities (e.g. coaching, summer camps, ski/winter sport instruction, counselors, wilderness therapy) to join our awesome team.
This position is responsible for planning and implementing community-based challenge course groups and related activities. Facilitators will also gain professional experience in project development, managing technology platforms, and multimedia initiatives. Experience directly in challenge courses is not required.
PRN/part-time shifts and hours may vary from week to week, depending on classes and schedules. Facilitators can expect to work 12 hours a week from September through April and at least 24 hours or more per week from May through August. 40 hours of required training must be completed within 30 days of hire.

The HMHI ROPES Challenge Course is an incredible resource for HMHI patients, and community groups, teams, programs, and organizations. Our beautiful challenge course is one of the largest course in the state.
