Overview

We are seeking a new and experienced Nursing Director for Infusion and Hospital Operations at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital, as part of University of Utah Health, Hospitals and Clinics.

 

This Nursing Director at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital (HCH) leads the planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all internal operations of assigned clinical departments. Responsibilities include the planning and business objectives, budgetary information, human resource and financial management operations of assigned departments.

The incumbent acts as a catalyst between the department and its customers, and staff, to ensure continuity and quality of service and care.

This position may be required to access and administer medications within their scope of practice and according to State Law.

 

This Nursing Director for Infusion and Hospital Operations will lead and oversee:

  • Main Huntsman Cancer Hospital Infusion
  • Bone Marrow Transplant Infusion
  • Farmington Health Center Infusion & Clinic
  • Sugarhouse Health Center Infusion & Clinic
  • South Jordan Health Center Infusion & Clinic
  • Huntsman Acute Care / Urgent Care
  • House Supervisors
  • HCH Nursing Quality
  • Nursing Education

 

In addition, this role will also serve as a support Liaison for surgery, PACU Rad/Onc, Interventional Radiology, and Radiology.

 

Qualified candidates must have completed:

  • Five years of progressive management experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field.

Additionally, this role requires an active RN license in Utah:

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Utah, or obtain one within 90 days of hire under the interstate compact if switching residency to State of Utah. Must maintain current Interstate Compact (multi-state) license if residency is not being changed to Utah.

Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Master's degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, Business Administration or a related area.
