University of Utah Health is seeking a new and experienced Nursing Director for Inpatient Acute Care. This new leadership role will work in partnership and tandem with another Inpatient Acute Care Nursing Director to lead and serve the departments assigned.
This position directs the planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all internal operations of assigned clinical departments. This includes the planning and business objectives, budgetary information, human resource and financial management operations of assigned departments.
The incumbent acts as a catalyst between the department and its customers, and staff, to ensure continuity and quality of service and care.
This position may be required to access and administer medications within their scope of practice and according to State Law.
