Overview

The TA Specialist serves as a strategic business partner to assigned recruiter(s). Provides recruitment services in a positive, timely, service oriented, cost efficient and effective manner. Recruitment services are delivered by working with assigned recruiter(s) to understand their business, proactively address their staffing needs, and providing Recruitment and Workforce Planning services to meet those needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the pre-screening process for high volume positions as assigned by recruiter(s) to ensure minimum qualifications are met.
  • Extends approved job offers to final candidates as assigned by recruiter(s). Manages assigned salary negotiations with compensation, candidate and hiring manager.
  • Provide out of office coverage for assigned recruiter(s).
  • Provide interim coverage as needed.
  • In conjunction with Sourcing, participates in job fairs and other outreach activities.
  • Utilizes technology tools to facilitate recruiting and hiring processes.
  • Builds positive relationships with peers, hiring managers and executives.
  • Maintains knowledge of current employee offerings, benefits, incentives, salary structures, etc. Provides U Health information related to culture and benefits to potential candidates, which promotes U Health as both the provider of choice and the employer of choice.
  • Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field of recruiting.
  • Ensures that recruiting and employment activities are in compliance with government regulations and organization policy and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required

  • Two years experience in recruiting.
  • Experience marketing job opportunities to potential candidates.

Qualifications (Preferred)

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience working with an applicant tracking system.
  • Experience utilizing a database management tool to track leads or networks.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation.

  • This is a sedentary position in an office setting that may exert up to 10 pounds and may lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. This position involves sitting most of the time and is not exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
