Overview

We are seeking an experienced new Director of Business Operations a the Huntsman Mental Health Institute! 

 

This key position will proide leadership and operational oversight of the H.O.M.E. Program (Healthy Outcomes Medical Excellence), an outpatient clinic and medicaid health plan, the Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinic, and Geriatric Pyschiatry Services.

Qualified candidates must have:

  • Bachelor degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or related area or equivalency.
  • Six years of progressive management experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or related area.
  • Six years' experience in data analytics, data science or equivalent.
  • Robust knowledge in National Quality Payment programs and familiarity with commercial payor programs.

This position directs the planning, organizing, directing, and controlling of all internal operations of assigned departments. This includes the planning and business objectives, budgetary information, human resource and financial management operations of assigned departments. The incumbent acts as a catalyst between the department and its customers, and staff, to ensure continuity and quality of service and care.

 

This position has no responsibility for providing care to patients.

  • Actively engages staff with updates and news as well as involving staff in decisions and work teams. Provides feedback and recognition when appropriate.

  • Knowledge of hospital business operations and demonstrated strategic planning skills.
  • Knowledge of budgeting practices, reporting analysis, and forecasting.
