  • This position provides routine office support.
  • The incumbent reviews and processes documents, requests for information, maintains files, enters data, and distributes mail.
  • This position is not responsible for providing patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Gathers data to create spreadsheets and/or reports.
  • Processes forms for the department.
  • Greets customers and patients, providing assistance and directions, as requested.
  • Maintains filing systems.
  • Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Answers, screens, and routes incoming telephone calls.
  • Performs data entry, scanning, scheduling of meetings, and other general office duties as assigned.
  • May receive payments and prepare receipts for routine fees and bills, as well as verifying the collected monies against cash register tapes and statements.

  • Ability to assist frustrated customers in a professional, courteous manner while trying to help solve their problems.

  • Entry level position.

Qualifications (Preferred)

  • One year of general office experience.
  • Hiring department may require a minimum typing ability.
