The Medical Assistant Intern position is available to qualified Proxima scholars to provide hands-on clinical experience and exposure to the essential functions and daily responsibilities of a medical assistant within a dynamic healthcare system. This position is a paid temporary role with a duration of up to 12 weeks. The Medical Assistant Intern works under the licensed healthcare staff to deliver safe, high-quality, and compassionate care to patients. The role supports department-based teams and contributes to the overall care experience through fundamental patient care activities.
