This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and training on central Revenue Cycle processes, culture, and professional development. Key duties include managing the development of training curricula, facilitating system updates, and coordinating communication to achieve departmental goals. The ideal candidate will excel in designing revenue cycle education programs, conducting operational analyses, and demonstrating leadership to foster departmental success. Additionally, this role supports Epic testing and communication across the revenue cycle. Please note that this position does not involve patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Support operations efficiency through data analysis, data visualization and reporting.
  • Translate strategy into clear, actionable initiatives and action plans.
  • Understand IT architecture and supported technologies and analyze current business processes.
  • Engage committees and staff with system-wide testing process updates, serving as bridge between operations and ITS.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of educational programs for revenue cycle, culture, and professional development.
  • Support department culture in developing engaging training material and evaluating training effectiveness.
  • Streamline workflows, map processes, automate tasks, and utilize approval processes.
  • Utilize innovative technologies to improve training development and delivery while adhering to communication protocols and standards.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Knowledge of hospital business operations and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated strong communication (written & verbal), analytic and training skills
  • Proficient in managing complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for collaboration among teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in applicable software applications.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in revenue cycle management.
  • Strong foundation in system-wide healthcare testing and protocols.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic vision aligned with organizational goals.
  • Provide peer development and coaching for high-performing teams.
  • Experience in designing and developing education programs for adult learning.
  • Knowledge of writing and recording narration for training materials.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships.
  • Working knowledge of the hospital Revenue Cycle, training systems, tools and processes.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area of assignment, or equivalency.
  • Four years of professional management experience, preferably in a healthcare and or training setting.

Qualifications (Preferred)

Preferred

  • Master's degree in a related area, or equivalency.
  • Birkman Certification.
