Overview

This position is responsible for developing strategies and initiating campaigns to fill Nursing positions while partnering with department leadership to assess, develop, implement and track the effectiveness of recruitment tactics for positions in a healthcare environment.

 

This role will serve as a lead within the Talent Acquisition team, overseeing and managing projects relating to job architecture, strategy, and operations.

 

This position is not responsible for providing care to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Develops strategies to target and recruit candidates using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Designs, builds and implements innovative recruitment programs.
  • Partners with department leadership to recruit and fill their needed positions.
  • Identifies strategic sources for talent.
  • Screens resumes ensuring potential applicants for future engagements are entered into the applicant tracking system.
  • Schedules and interviews all candidates, providing feedback to appropriate directors.
  • Prepares and extends offers to select candidates.
  • Monitors job posting sites both internally and externally.
  • Develops and places ads for open positions.
  • Participates in job fairs and networking opportunities.
  • Maintains resume and candidate pipeline.
  • Works with agency and search firms when needed.
  • Answers general questions regarding benefits offered. Refers staff to appropriate personnel for specific benefit verification.
  • Continually assess the recruiting strategies to identify areas needing improvement.
  • Ensures that recruiting and employment activities are in compliance with government regulations and organization policy and procedures.

Qualifications

Required

  • Four years of recruitment experience with at least one of them being in a healthcare environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalency.
