This position assists in organizing and directing aspects for the radiologic technology education programs. The incumbent acts as an administrative and operational link between the academic program, clinical sites, and students. This role is essential for maintaining compliance with accrediting bodies and ensuring the program runs smoothly on a daily basis. This position reports to the Radiology Technology Program Manager and works under general supervision to support administrative, operational, and educational functions of the radiologic technology education programs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and oversees clinical placements and student rotations across affiliated clinical sites in collaboration with program leadership.
  • Serves as the primary liaison to clinical instructors to monitor student progress, performance, and attendance.
  • Provides student support throughout the admissions process, conducts student orientations, and offers ongoing academic advising to ensure students meet graduation and registry eligibility requirements.
  • Assesses training needs and coordinates related training programs to support student success and program goals.
  • Develops and maintains systems, processes, and records that support program operations and accreditation needs.
  • Supports and coordinates administrative and operational functions of the radiologic technology education programs to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations and compliance with accrediting requirements.
  • Independently resolves routine operational issues and escalates matters outside established scope, policy, or authority to the Program Manager.
  • Represents the department in handling issues and questions related to educational programs, including participation on committees as assigned.
  • Assists in preparing, forecasting, tracking, and monitoring program budgets and expenditures under the direction of the Program Manager.
  • Provides program‑level coordination and oversight of assigned activities while escalating policy, compliance, or operational issues to the Program Manager as appropriate.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined above.
  • Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to act as a liaison between internal and external constituencies involved in program related activities. Problems arising from these efforts will be addressed by the incumbent who will refer to their manager any issues outside of program policy and procedure guidelines.
  • The level of responsibility does not generally extend beyond the parameters of the program except in an advisory capacity.
  • Ability to provide generalized oversight of more than one program.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or the equivalency.
  • Two (2) years of related experience, or the equivalency.
