EO/AA.   The Data Warehouse Engineer III works within University of Utah Health Care’s Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and directly supports Health Sciences Strategy in the Office of the Senior Vice President for Health Sciences.    The EDW supports patient care, research, education, and other missions by providing data solutions for customers across health sciences. Health Sciences Strategy collaborates with entities across the university to craft healthsystem strategy and develop and implement strategic initiatives, working on behalf of the CEO of University of Utah and senior leadership.    This unique role draws on benefits from the talent, experience, training, and resources offered by both groups. Successful performance in the role is demonstrated through development, management, and analysis of complex datasets in support of health system strategy. The Data Warehouse Engineer III’s day-to-day duties are managed by the Director of Strategy in Health Sciences Strategy. The role is also closely tied to the EDW and its employees and leaders which positions the Data Warehouse Engineer III to leverage EDW data assets, security, training, and protocols. The Data Warehouse Engineer III receives ongoing support, training, and professional development opportunities as a member of the EDW team.
