This position assists the surgical team by acting as the primary scrub person who handles the instruments, supplies and equipment during surgical procedures. The incumbent maintains constant vigilance for the maintenance of the sterile field and assists with maintaining equipment and instruments as well as with supply inventory. This position may be required to access and administer medications within their scope of practice and according to state law.

This position is responsible for transporting patients to and from their bed and other areas such as therapy, surgery, or radiology. Other responsibilities include retrieving medical records, lab results, supplies and medications. This position may be required to transport medications within their scope of practice and according to State Law. This position is not responsible for providing care to patients.

This position is responsible for evaluation, care, prevention, and management of athletic injuries to include; rehabilitation, recording of athletic injuries, coordinating care and referral of athletes with other allied health professionals.

This position is responsible for performing all aspects of cardiac sonography, which includes transthoracic, two dimensional m-mode and doppler procedures, transesophageal procedures, pharmacologic/non-pharmacologic stress echocardiograms, and imaging procedures. The Associate Electrophysiology Nurse provides nursing care to Electrophysiology patients in the procedural lab. This position serves as the entry nurse position in the Electrophysiology Lab. The associate nurse performs at a task-oriented skill level, and performs troubleshooting and complex tasks under the guidance of experienced nurses. This position includes an orientation to the nurse monitor, nurse circulator and the scrub role for electrophysiology procedures in the lab and the hybrid OR. Associate nursing responsibilities include safety checks, equipment management, product entry, patient documentation in Epic, administration of medications, and moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, rhythm interpretation, assisting in EP procedures in the Hybrid OR, assisting with anesthetized patients, patient preparation, scrubbing into sterile procedures and sheath management. During and after orientation, staff are responsible for seeking assistance with responsibilities outside of their current knowledge level and are active participants with area leadership to create a plan for advancing practice past task orientated care. This position provides exceptional care for our patients and guests by offering them professional service and creating a memorable patient experience. The incumbent accurately and professionally handles all desk operations including, but not limited to, all phases of the patient registration and scheduling process. They will also advise patients on financial obligations which may include the establishment of payment plans. The core responsibilities of this role maximize efficiency through facilitating and ensuring the accuracy of the information flow between medical staff, hospital staff, and other various departments.
