Hospitals and Clinics is embarking on a new program to attract and retain qualified Healthcare Assistants (HCAs). The program provides a signing bonus for new hired HCAs at a 0.50 FTE or greater.
The first installment is paid out upon hire within the first 30 days.
The second installment is paid out after nine (9) months of employment.
In order to qualify:
The applying HCA must be an external candidate.
Must start position before March 31, 2024.
If, at any time during the first nine (9) months of employment, an eligible HCA drops below a .50 FTE, all future bonuses are forfeited, regardless of whether or not they later return to an FTE above .50.
If an eligible HCA terminates from the organization and is subsequently rehired, they must have been separated from the organization for a period of at least 3 months before becoming eligible once again for the program.

This position provides patient care at the direction of a Registered Nurse. The incumbent will have direct contact with patients and their families as well as perform indirect patient care activities necessary to support patients within their environment. This position provides direct patient care and may be required to access and administer medications within their scope of practice and according to state law.

This position is responsible for transporting patients to and from their bed and other areas such as therapy, surgery, or radiology. Other responsibilities include retrieving medical records, lab results, supplies and medications. This position may be required to transport medications within their scope of practice and according to State Law. This position is not responsible for providing care to patients.

The Clinical Dietitian works with the departmental and interdisciplinary health care team to provide patient care that is integrated and compatible with patient-centered medical goals and objectives. This position is responsible for assessing the nutritional status, identifying nutrition concerns, and developing, implementing and evaluating outcomes of nutrition care plans for patients at nutritional risk. This position may provide nutritional support to patients in specialized populations. The Patient Coordinator is responsible for full life-cycle coordination of care and serves as a liaison between the patient and healthcare system. This position helps manage patient needs and coordinates services across multiple care teams and facilities. This position answers all patient questions and collaborates with members of an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and facilitate resource and discharge planning to reach optimal outcomes for the patient.
