Hospitals and Clinics is embarking on a new program to attract and retain qualified Healthcare Assistants (HCAs). The program provides a signing bonus for new hired HCAs at a 0.50 FTE or greater.
The first installment is paid out upon hire within the first 30 days.
The second installment is paid out after nine (9) months of employment.
In order to qualify:
The applying HCA must be an external candidate.
Must start position before March 31, 2024.
If, at any time during the first nine (9) months of employment, an eligible HCA drops below a .50 FTE, all future bonuses are forfeited, regardless of whether or not they later return to an FTE above .50.
If an eligible HCA terminates from the organization and is subsequently rehired, they must have been separated from the organization for a period of at least 3 months before becoming eligible once again for the program.

This position provides patient care at the direction of a Registered Nurse. The incumbent will have direct contact with patients and their families as well as perform indirect patient care activities necessary to support patients within their environment. This position provides direct patient care and may be required to access and administer medications within their scope of practice and according to state law.

This position involves direct implementation of skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans with individuals diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Under close supervision, the behavior technician will provide direct care and implement the treatment goals and objectives mutually developed by the BCBA, family, and clinical team across the home and community based setting. This position provides an excellent entry to the field for people who are interested in psychology, behavior analysis, special education, or other careers in the behavioral sciences.

This position assists and educates patients in the selection of eyeglass frames, contact lenses and lens enhancements. The incumbent orders, dispenses, repairs and adjusts eyeglasses and contact lenses. This position also provides office support and assists customers with appointments.

This position provides the technical functions associated with the delivery of clinical pharmacy services by maintaining proper stock levels in all pharmacy locations, compounding or otherwise preparing filling, pricing and delivering medications or other related items. The incumbent may perform duties such as entering prescriptions, completing reports, operating and maintaining automated dispensing devices, inputting computer data and providing all aspects of customer service that are required to provide Pharmacy Department services. This positions completes the essential functions of the job under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. A Pharmacy Technician III must meet all the expectations of a Pharmacy Technician II. As a Pharmacy Technician III, this position requires a high level of in-depth knowledge and expertise that is characterized by demonstrating advanced, complex problem solving, practicing in more specialized assignments, leading in the planning coordination and implementation of training programs, and assisting with quality and safety improvement projects.
