The incumbent may perform duties such as entering prescriptions, completing reports, operating and maintaining automated dispensing devices, inputting computer data, and providing all aspects of customer service that are required to provide Pharmacy Department services. This position completes the essential functions of the job under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist. As a Pharmacy Technician II, this position provides advanced services such as IV therapy, preparation of chemotherapy, maintenance of automated dispensing machines, narcotic coordination, investigational drug therapy, billing/coding. Technician II incumbents are expected to plan, coordinate, and implement training programs for other staff. Technician IIs have a higher level of responsibility for departmental and organizational problem solving. This position is respons ible for updating and maintaining eligibility/enrollment and premium billing information; will also update files and resolve other issues related to insurance eligibility/enrollment and/or premiums.   This position will track member enrollment from start to finish, data entering member information into Salesforce (customer relationship management software), MedMC (claims), and CareRadius (patient mangement software).  Will also be responsible for submitting files through CMS software, and to follow up with brokers on incomplete enrollment applications.     This position will also analyze data requests and data reports for accuracy; and transmit files to and from shared drives and vendor SFTP sites on a regular basis.   Due to all the data processing, a technical aptitude is required in this position, including strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience.  Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL is also preferred, but not required.

EO/AA   Mobile Crisis Outreach Teams (MCOT) offer community-based intervention to individuals living in the Salt Lake County. Outreach teams go to homes, schools, shelters, work, or anywhere else in the community where a person is experiencing a crisis. A two person team is in place to support emergency department and justice system diversion. Teams will have cars and equipment to complete most of their work in the field. Teams will be managed and dispatched by an MCOT Dispatcher in real time using a GPS location program to dispatch a team to the location of the person in crisis in order to achieve the needed and best outcome.   The main objectives of mobile crisis services are to provide rapid response, assess the individual, and resolve crisis situations that involve children and adults who are presumed or known to have a behavioral disorder. Additional work includes linking people to needed services to reduce psychiatric hospitalizations, including hospitalizations that follow psychiatric ED admissions.    Essential functions of mobile crisis services include: - Triage/screening, including explicit screening for suicidality - Assessment - De-escalation/resolution - Peer support - Coordination with medical and behavioral health services: and - Crisis Response planning and follow-up.    Huntsman Mental Health Institute Crisis Website
